Alan Walker writes: Hello church family, Jessy Nelson is a young man from the Templeton area that needs prayer for a serious spine injury. At this point he cannot walk, but he has just begun the rehabilitation process. Please pray that he would be able to regain his ability to walk. I do not know if Jessy is a believer, so pray that he would see God’s hand in the progress he makes toward a complete recovery. God’s Blessings, Alan
Betty Townley would like us to pray for her daughter, Jan, as she is stressed because of so many things on her plate. Also, please pray traveling mercies for Patricia, Betty’s caregiver, as she takes a well-deserved vacation.Ben Castro writes: One of my best friend’s daughter, Heaven, was air-lifted to Cottage Hospital with severe bronchial restrictions. Marian Medical wasn’t able to help..The latest is that she is off the ventilator but still in serious condition. Please pray for healing for Heaven and that her parents will be comforted and strengthened.
I hope you are having a great summer, that God is blessing your work and that you are getting some good rest on a great vacation. This is a mid to late summer reminder: put it on your calendar. We will, Lord willing, pray together for another “school year” beginning 9/15, 7:30am, Community Covenant. Let’s commit to this and thus enjoy one another, enjoy God and lift up his church. See you on the 15th! And the third Thursday of every month. Prayer is a work to which we must commit ourselves if we are to make sense of our lives in the light of eternity.
Magdalena Caro writes: Please lift up my son Daniel as he starts high school today. Also, pray for his new aide, for him to be filled with the God’s love and compassion and patience for Daniel . I also pray that if he doesn’t know Jesus that he might get to feel His Love and presence through Daniel and all these precious children with special needs. He was appointed by God. Please pray for Gino who is struggling in his marriage and is currently jobless. Pray that God would draw Gino and his wife together and that he would be able to find steady employment. Please pray for Nancy who has a strained relationship with a non-believer. Pray that God would guide her and that Gods name would be glorified. Pray that Steve’s faith would be strengthened and that he would continue walking with God. Pray also Steve and his fiancés relationship would be centered on the Lord. Pray for Marcy who has been in a deep depression. Pray that she would be comforted in her time of need and that she would be able to find a steady job that will meet the needs of her family. Pray for Brandan and his wife who are both out of work. Pray that God would provide for them and that their walk would be strengthened during this time.
